Logidoo: Truck and Container Loading Planner

The product
Logidoo is a logistics platform. This module helps planners load trucks and containers. They enter parcels with their dimensions, weight and quantity, and the module works out how everything fits, which truck or container to use, and how full it will be. The goal is fewer half-empty trips and fewer planning errors.
My role
I was the main developer in a team of four and wrote 158 of the 217 commits. My work covered the backend, the packing logic and the Angular front end.
What I built
Packing engine that tries all six orientations of each parcel and places them in layers, within space and weight limits.
Vehicle suggestions: trucks or containers that fit the load's total volume and weight and are available.
Interactive 2D and 3D views of the loaded container, with a toolbar and a details panel.
Exports of every loading plan as PDF and PNG.
Accounts with sign-up, login and password reset, a user dashboard, and a history of simulations.
Admin dashboard to manage users and the fleet of trucks and containers.
REST API built with Node.js, Express and MongoDB, with automated tests for models, routes and services.
