PRNow lets businesses, agencies and resellers publish a press release without talking to a salesperson. They write the release themselves or let the AI writer draft it, pick a plan and premium outlets, and pay. The platform then distributes it, collects live placement links and sends a branded report.
My role
I've been the lead developer since August 2025. Starting from the original homepage mock-up, I built the product behind it: accounts, orders, payments, distribution, reporting, support and the admin back office. That work comes to about 545 reviewed pull requests.
What I built
AI press release writer grounded in live web search, with SEO checks and fallback across model providers.
Order pipeline with package tracking, credit refunds, and automatic cancel-and-refund for stalled orders.
Automatic distribution to wholesale partners, with placement links returned to each order.
Branded reports on the web and as PDF and Excel files, including white-label domains for agencies.
Checkout with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and crypto, designed so retries can't double-charge.
Support desk where AI drafts replies and a person approves them before they're sent.
Public REST API with Swagger docs, plus a white-label storefront for resellers.
Hard problems
Hosting move: I moved the app from Vercel to a VPS behind Cloudflare without downtime.
Admin performance: one admin page was shipping an estimated 80 MB. I fixed it by loading details on demand.
