A self-initiated Framer template for boutique hotels and cocktail bars. Dark luxury aesthetic, four pages, custom code components, and one CMS collection — built to run on Framer's Basic plan.
How it started
I wanted to build a template for a type of hospitality brand that's underserved online — the kind of intimate, character-driven property that has a story older than its website. Nocturne is built around that story. Established 1924. Twelve rooms. One bar. The history came first, and the design followed from there.
Goals
Create a hospitality template that feels as considered as the brand it represents
Build functional code components buyers can actually use — not just decorative UI
Keep it accessible: one CMS collection, Basic plan compatible, no integrations required out of the box
Challenges
The hardest part was the availability search bar. Getting three responsive layouts to behave on real devices took several iterations, particularly around mobile date inputs ignoring width constraints on iOS.
Outcome
Nocturne ships with four pages, a booking-connected availability search bar, a viewport-triggered animated stat counter, custom 404, and full SEO metadata. The template is ready to list and built to hand off.
