The Contra Bootcamp program was a month-long program for people new to freelancing/Independent work to learn the ropes + get their freelance business up and running 🏃🏻♀️ We hosted it in November 2021 and May 2022.

This bootcamp was probably the best thing to happen in my independent career. The valuable information and amazing support that was given is something I never thought I would receive this early in my career. This is a program I'd pay money for so the fact we were paid just goes to show how much the team values independents.
The Bootcamp program has been one of the best starts to my freelance journey that I’ve had. I’ve always been a writer as a side hustle, but to make this my full-time life was another leap. Contra and this Bootcamp program have helped me feel more centered and see what’s possible AND make connections with other extremely talented creative freelancers that I hope to cultivate and support throughout my own career - wherever it may take me.
