Meaningful Activities: Occupational Therapy Landing Page

Meaningful Activities is a neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy provider in Adelaide, supporting children, teens and adults across clinic, home, school and community settings. They needed a landing page that felt warm and professional rather than clinical, and that could guide two very different audiences (families looking for support, and professionals referring a client) to the right next step without confusion.
I designed and built the full page in Base44, including a custom brand system: deep teal and warm mustard palette, serif headings paired with a clean sans-serif body face, and generous, neurodiversity-friendly line spacing for readability.
What the page includes:
Two-column hero with a founder intro video, poster image, captions and a visible transcript
Life-stage selector routing visitors to Children, Teens or Adults
Dual referral pathway (client or family vs. professional referral) feeding into one Get Started flow
Seven linked service pages split into core and specialised groups, plus a clearly marked Coming soon service
Five-step referral journey shown as a vertical path, with all copy visible without interaction and a static fallback for reduced motion
Three clinic location cards with verified Google Maps destinations
Six funding option cards covering NDIS, Medicare, private, Support at Home and more
Ten accessible FAQ accordions in a two-column layout with an inline CTA card
A reusable recruitment banner that can be toggled on or off as roles open
Accessibility and compliance work:
Single H1 with a logical heading order throughout
Visible keyboard focus states, large touch targets and WCAG-level colour contrast
Every hover behaviour paired with a click, focus or always-visible equivalent
Usable at 200% zoom and with reduced motion enabled
Meaningful alt text, no text baked into images
Careful compliance copy so nothing implies guaranteed funding approval, eligibility or a start date
Analytics were scoped to meaningful actions only: referral starts, route selections, phone clicks, service and location engagement. No referral form field data is passed to advertising or general analytics platforms.
