For decades, we have used A/B testing to determine the best way to display information on the screen, place important CTAs, and convey the best messaging.

For two test versions of a screen, say the task completion rate for

Version A is 95%

Version B is 5%

One would go with version A, or try to qualitatively understand the needs of the other 5%, if important and try to incorporate them into the interface. What if the other group was a group of left-handed people? Will one interface always do justice to all, and if needed to trade off, what will a smart designer choose? 😵‍💫

Now, what if AI can predict the usage and dynamically switch interfaces?
