Rooted in the philosophy of Thailand’s fight culture, I developed the brand identity for Samaya — a boutique recovery hotel where strength and stillness meet. Designed for guests seeking restoration, Samaya blends daily ritual with a deep connection to nature. The visual identity is earthy, minimal, and intentional: deep greens, warm neutrals, and a palm tree symbol that grounds the brand.
Typography is clean and modern, with a subtle masculine tone, using sans-serif fonts that feel both strong and considered. Materials like linen, stone, and textured paper reflect the feel of the hotel’s interiors, while printed collateral and in-room elements remain calm and tactile. This language continues into the digital space, shaping the design of the website and extended brand materials.
The branding is designed to feel calm, grounded, and restorative, just like the experience at Samaya. It invites guests to reconnect with their own rhythm: embodied, focused, and present.
