Overcoming Export Limitations: The absence of an export function on the source platform necessitated web scraping. I utilized Cheerio to meticulously extract product descriptions and images, laying the groundwork for product creation in Shopify.

Google Sheets as Staging Ground: I meticulously organized and formatted the scraped data using Google Sheets, ensuring compatibility with Shopify's import requirements.

Breadcrumb Transformation: Recognizing the value of product categorization, I ingeniously extracted breadcrumbs from the old platform and transformed them into tags on Shopify. This facilitated efficient product organization and collection creation.

Enhanced Filtering: I went beyond Shopify's default capabilities by developing advanced filter options like brand, color, size, sport type, and even location-based availability. This empowered users with a granular search and improved navigation.

Intuitive Collection Sorting: I meticulously organized product collections, allowing users to sort by item type (tops, bottoms) and sport category. Engaging sliders, visually responsive across mobile and desktop devices, further bolstered the browsing experience.

Collaborative Design: Partnering with a skilled designer, I curated eye-catching banners for the main page, highlighting the store's unique selling proposition.

Custom Homepage Sections: To captivate user interest, I designed a tailored homepage featuring new arrivals, sale items, a brand slider facilitating brand-specific browsing, and a news section.
