To begin the project, I tackled the challenge of migrating data from a platform that did not provide an export function for products. I utilized web scraping tools, specifically Google Sheets and the Cheerio library, to scrape product images, descriptions, and breadcrumbs from the old website. The breadcrumbs were then repurposed as tags in Shopify to efficiently organize product collections.

Within the categories, I developed custom badges such as "New Collection" and "Discount Percentage" to highlight special offers and new arrivals. This enhancement improved the visual appeal and usability of the store.

I designed and implemented a custom product recommendation algorithm using product metafields and the Liquid programming language. This algorithm ensures that when a customer views a specific type of item, they also receive recommendations for complementary products, such as sports nutrition.

To further improve customer experience, I developed a custom section for recently viewed products, allowing users to easily revisit items they had previously shown interest in.

I single-handedly built a fully functional store featuring over 3,000 SKUs and 60+ categories. Additionally, I provided detailed instructions to store managers on how to effectively manage the store, ensuring smooth operations post-launch.

I successfully launched targeted Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, driving consistent sales and boosting the store's online presence.

To increase the conversion rate, I developed a custom 1-click purchase button, streamlining the checkout process for customers. This feature was created using API development with Express.js and Node.js.

I also developed a custom app for inventory syncing, ensuring that stock levels across all platforms remain accurate and up-to-date.

The entire project was built using HTML, CSS3, Liquid, and API development.
