About the Project:

I worked with a non-profit organization on a complex workflow for their automated email templates. The company had multiple online platforms, with automated emails that sent to clients based on each client's action. As new functionality was incorporated into their existing platform, new email templates needed to be drafted, approved, designed, and tested. I facilitated creating a workflow for new email template creation.

Our Process / What We Did:

1 - I met with company stakeholders to understand the current email template creation process, including which teams would need to be included in the template review, approval, and testing steps.

2 - I filled in the gaps, and I documented the process with clear steps, as pictured below.

3 - I met with the teams involved to review and confirm the defined process.

4 - I facilitated each new email template through the new process, and I ensured all steps were followed.

Results:

The company now has a standard process for creating new automated email templates!
