Makasí is a new tech company for the house construction market. Its goal is to make the hard and expensive house-building process easier, cheaper, and more predictable. Makasí ecosystem will connect homeowners, constructors, banks, engineers, and providers through apps and online platforms.

The logo

In every project, the logo is usually the most time-consuming and hard part. For Makasí I made a few options for the stakeholders, based on mood boards and references I sent them.

Being a designer is about listening and compromising with the project and the client's taste. My favorite version is the one on the left. The simplicity of a modern-shaped house and the open door is inviting. But the client chose this one:

This version can be used with the symbol alone (the house) or the entire logotype where the symbols unify with the í to create the door to the house.

🎨 Color pallet

The stakeholders wanted a tech look and feel, but at the same time, we are dealing with houses and dreams, so it had to be some warmth and inviting.

Color pallet

The green is the tech part of the pallet. The sand is the warmth we wanted to bring to it. the black helps us with contrast. Those colors also work very well with concrete and wood, materials and textures you see a lot in this context

Appling to the real world

Mockups are the best way to test which emotions and feelings the final brand will inspire it's public.
