Finova Receipts offers a modern, paper-free solution for managing receipts: digital first, streamlined, user-friendly. My task was to create a visual identity that matched the innovation and simplicity of the product.
Approach & Strategy
I began by clearly defining the brand’s mission and vision, ensuring the identity would reflect Finova’s promise: simplifying expense tracking, reducing clutter, and empowering users. From there I moved into visual territory – the logo, colors, typography, and applications.
Identity Development
Logo & Icon/Favicon: Designed a clean, recognisable logo that works across digital and print. Created a matching icon and favicon for seamless web/app use.
Typography & Color Palette: Selected typefaces that feel modern yet approachable, and developed a color palette rooted in clarity and trust - perfect for a tech-savvy, user-friendly brand.
Brand Elements: Created supporting graphics and visual cues that reinforce the brand across materials.
Stationery & Brand Touchpoints: Developed business cards, letterhead, pens, envelopes and other stationery to ensure the brand’s presence in everyday business interactions.
Social Media Direction: Designed social templates, icons, and layout systems to extend Finova’s identity into digital marketing channels.
Brand Guidelines
All visual assets and usage rules were compiled into a detailed brand book. This document covers logo application, color usage (HEX/RGB/CMYK values), typography hierarchy, icon usage, stationery templates, and social-media layouts. This ensures brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
Tools & Workflow
The project used industry-standard tools: Adobe Illustrator for the logo and icon design, Adobe InDesign for the brand book layout, and Figma for social templates and digital collaboration. This integrated workflow ensured clean hand-off and scalability across media.
