I led this project through PING Studio, the creative studio I run.
Rivet Health came with the need to create an explainer video for its revenue cycle platform. I owned the project from the initial lead and first client conversations through creative development, production, and final delivery.
I was fully responsible for the creative direction and stayed hands-on throughout production, personally designing and animating key scenes. The rest of the project was produced with a small team of motion designers and a sound designer working under my direction.
The challenge
Rivet connects estimates, claims, payments, analytics, and payer operations in one platform.
The challenge was not showing everything the product could do. It was making the whole system easy to understand.
With several products and workflows, a new buyer could easily see a collection of separate tools instead of one connected platform.
The approach
I started by working through the product and defining what a buyer actually needed to understand.
From there, I developed the story, storyboard, and visual direction around one continuous journey instead of a list of features.
The real UI stayed at the center of the video, while 3D space, transitions, camera movement, and animation connected different parts of the platform into one coherent system.
My role
I was responsible for both the client side and the creative side of the project:
Creative Direction
Story & Concept Development
Storyboard Direction
Visual Direction
Motion Direction
Project Management
Client Communication
Production Leadership
Hands-on Design & Animation
Final Delivery
The result
The final explainer gave Rivet a clear way to introduce a complex platform to enterprise buyers.
Instead of presenting a collection of separate products, the video communicates one connected system and gives the viewer a clear understanding of how the platform works.
Healthcare SaaS explainer video for Rivet Health, using product storytelling, UI animation, and 3D motion design to explain a complex platform clearly.
