Overview
For the Rotaract Club of Tampa’s annual project, I led the coordination of a district-wide campaign with the goal of raising $40,000 for Alzheimer’s research. The campaign, named The Vera Jean Challenge, was inspired by a real person named Vera Jean, whose battle with Alzheimer’s deeply affected her daughter, a Rotary member in District 6890. This personal connection helped humanize the campaign and amplify our message.
Strategy and Execution
Challenge Concept: Male members of the Rotaract Club pledged not to shave their beards until the goal was reached.
Target Audience: Rotary District 6890 clubs and their members were encouraged to contribute through coordinated efforts.

Email Marketing: Targeted campaigns (via MailChimp) to thousands of Rotary members.
Social Media Marketing: Engagement-driven posts on Facebook and Instagram.
Humorous Videos: Created in Adobe Premiere to balance the seriousness of the cause with lighthearted content.
Graphics: Designed on Canva for digital promotions.
Presentations: Delivered to district leaders to inspire them to encourage their members to donate.
Website Optimization: Updated the club’s website to effectively drive traffic toward the donation button.
