Jamm: Shared Social Experiences

Jamm is a social and shared-experience app built around small-group interaction rather than broadcast content, closer in spirit to how people socialize with close friends than to a public-feed model.

Most social apps optimize for broadcasting to the widest possible audience. Jamm takes the opposite approach: it is built for small, intentional groups sharing an experience together in real time, rather than posting content for strangers to scroll past.

That meant designing interaction patterns and real-time features around intimacy and immediacy rather than reach and virality.

I built the core product architecture supporting these small-group, shared-experience interactions, including real-time synchronization so group members experience things together rather than asynchronously.
