Keep Moving: endless 3D tunnel (concept)

An endless tunnel you walk through in the browser, steered by your mouse. A concept study built in Spline, live and playable.

The idea

A dark arched tunnel with a white door at the end. You walk toward it forever, and the words "KEEP MOVING" lie on the floor as you pass. Move your mouse and the view follows, so it feels like looking around while you walk.

Why it matters for a brand

Move-through scenes hold attention in the first seconds of a page. A launch page, an event page, a campaign or a story-led brand could use a scene like this as its opening, where the visitor is part of the scene instead of watching it.

What I built

Endless walk, light scene. The tunnel is about 11.5k triangles in total. A script in Spline's HTML layer moves the stripes and the two words past the camera on a loop, so the tunnel never ends and nothing more needs to load.
Mouse steering with ease. The camera angle follows your cursor with smoothing and a cap, so it feels smooth and never dizzy.
A strict look. Black, grey and white only, with a vignette and metallic type lying on the floor, so the white door is the only bright thing and pulls the eye.
Lighting and depth. One directional light for shadows, and a dark floor so the type reads clearly.

Steering in action

Mouse moved to the left, then to the right. The whole tunnel turns with the cursor.

A decision worth showing

To make the scene lighter I first tried reducing the stripe geometry. The arches turned faceted, so I reversed it and kept the full detail. I check quality before I accept a speed-up.

How I tested it

I tested the published live link, not only the editor. The Community page shows a still version of the scene, while the Public URL runs the walk and the steering, so I check both.

Could this work for your project?

If you want an interactive 3D hero, a product viewer or a story scene on your site, send me the page and the goal. I'll reply with a short plan and what I'd build first.
This is a personal concept study, not client work.
