SmarDex Poker Pro: where high-stakes poker meets DeFi
SmarDex Poker Pro is the poker arm of SmarDex, built around one simple idea: poker players sit on piles of cash that earn nothing. Bankrolls wait between tournaments, buy-ins move between platforms, and in the meantime the money just sits there. SmarDex's answer is $USDN, a dollar that earns yield. Our job was to bring that story to the poker world, and to build an audience that actually listens.
Growing with the players
We didn't start with ads. We started with players. By partnering with professional poker players who wear the SmarDex Poker Pro patch at the tables, the brand was there from day one where the poker audience already looks: live tournaments, final tables and the players' own channels. Every collaboration became content: player intros, tournament highlights and short-form reels shared by both the players and SmarDex Poker Pro.
That strategy brought in the first few thousand followers (now 5,780 on Instagram) with no paid push. Those followers came through players they already trust. That credibility is now opening bigger doors: SmarDex Poker Pro is setting up partnerships with Stake and other big names in the poker business.

DeFi The Norm: the high stakes poker series
To keep the players and the brand on screen between tournaments, we built the visual identity for DeFi The Norm, a high stakes poker series on YouTube. The thumbnails follow one bold system: the SmarDex green, big punchy headlines like "6 Days, 3 Titles" and "The Kabrhel Bingo", and the players at the center of every frame. One look, recognizable in a crowded feed.
$USDN: the dollar for a high roller
What $USDN does, in short. $USDN is a synthetic dollar built by SmarDex. It stays stable at $1, but unlike a normal stablecoin it earns yield. You mint it by depositing wstETH (staked ETH) in the USDN vault. The protocol pairs that deposit with traders who open leveraged long positions on ETH. The two sides balance each other out (a delta-neutral setup), so the dollar value stays steady while the yield from staked ETH and from the traders' funding fees goes to USDN holders. It is fully on-chain, with no bank and no real-world assets behind it.
Explaining the concept behind the product
Why poker. High-stakes players win big and then park their bankroll. That money loses value to inflation, gets stuck on exchanges, or sits in stablecoins that pay nothing. $USDN turns an idle bankroll into a working one. For the "Dollar for a High Roller" page we turned this complex technology into a clear story, so the SmarDex Poker Pro ambassadors can promote $USDN on and off the tables.
