Building the Pre-seed Pitch Deck for Relay's $1.5M Raise

Relay is a GTM decision intelligence platform powered by reinforcement learning - built for revenue leaders who need to know which actions actually move revenue, not just what happened. Founded by a PhD candidate in RL, a former investment banker, and a senior AI engineer, Relay is going after a $1tn long-term market where dashboards describe and LLMs narrate, but nothing actually learns.
Challenge
David came to us with a tight deadline, a dense narrative document, and early-stage slides that needed a complete overhaul. The team was also mid-pivot - renaming from Cubert to Relay - and needed a deck that could clearly articulate a technically complex RL-powered product to pre-seed investors.
Solution
We built two versions of the pitch deck - a detailed investor deck and a lighter teaser version - developing both the narrative and design from scratch. Working across rapid iteration rounds, we helped distill a complex product thesis into a clean, compelling fundraising story with sharp problem framing, a differentiated competitive position, and a clear path to $500k ARR.
Results
David walked away with two polished, investor-ready decks - a full deck for deep-dive investor meetings and a sleek lighter version for first introductions - both built to support Relay's $1.5M pre-seed raise.
