About IN–JOY

IN–JOY is the result of of my time at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. I spent three months dedicating myself to understanding the needs of chronic illness patients. The people that I spoke with had complex conditions (like Multiple Sclerosis, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Endometriosis, and many others) and required complex care.
The most pressing issue that was uncovered as a result of the research was that people did not know how to navigate deep feelings of isolation and loneliness that was caused from living with complicated health conditions. IN–JOY is a design offering that builds a joy-centered community for these people.
