The VYRus Show - Podcast Identity Design

It all started from a simple place. I was tired of seeing surface-level conversations about design everywhere.

Too many people giving advice they hadn’t experienced themselves, and the ones who had, didn’t have the time to share it. I wanted to change that.

For me, this wasn’t about becoming a podcast host. It was about creating the conversations I wish I had heard when I was figuring things out a few years back.

If I could go back and give my past self something real to listen to, this show would be it. That thought alone was enough to push me to start.

The stickers are the core of any brand – and for a podcast, it is cherry on the top! Made sure to be bold and loud on my philosophies and everything that is going wrong with the industry.

I wanted to build a space that felt raw, honest, and unfiltered. No fluff, no clickbait talk, just straight-up conversations about design, freelancing, and creative careers that are grounded in real experience.

I’ve always been drawn to grunge, rough textures, and raw visuals — and that naturally shaped the identity of the podcast, too. I kept it flexible and diverse because that’s exactly what the creative journey is like. Messy, imperfect, but full of character.

The logo and visuals were made to reflect the raw feeling.

They don’t feel over-polished or corporate. They feel like they belong in a real creative’s notebook, full of ideas in progress.

The podcast thumbnails, the question cards for guests, the social media graphics — every piece of the identity was crafted to keep it accessible and grounded, yet bold enough to stand out.

Running the show solo meant doing everything myself — from designing the identity to planning content, recording, editing, and distributing.

This is a reminder for me to stay close to honest conversations, to stay curious, and to keep building spaces where creatives like me feel at home.
