Project Overview

In this short challenge, I was given the task of creating a dog-walking app for a startup in the Boston area. In today's fast-paced world, pet owners often face challenges when it comes to ensuring the safety and well-being of their beloved companions. This case study revolves around a dog-walking app that aims to address these concerns by focusing on transparency and security, ultimately creating a trustworthy platform for pet owners and walkers.

Project Challenge

As I began my solutions-based process, I took a look at what users likes about competitors dog-walking apps and the shortcomings those apps have. This would focus my goals in this UX design challenge.
One big problem is that users don't have good ways to make sure the walkers are who they say they are. People want to know their pets are safe and with the right people.

Putting One Paw Forward

To tackle this problem, I developed a comprehensive solution - a dog-walking app that goes beyond convenience and offers transparency. The app includes two vital components: certifications and background checks. Walkers are required to undergo thorough background checks during the onboarding process, providing an added layer of assurance to pet owners. Additionally, each walker's profile is clearly marked with a green checkmark to signify their verification status.
