❇️ Project Overview
My target is improve old design focusing on bring better user experienece for customer, i worked with the founder to build a site that felt modern but also having traditional looking. i ultimately wanted to showcase their books, and make it easy for people to shop
This website had the following pages:
✧ Homepage: showcase of bestseller book, author and useful informations
✧ Book listing page: you browse book by category, pricing or author
✧ Book detail page: it's destination where you can see detail of book, review, delivery & payment info
✧ Popular Authors: you can search and find your favourite author here
✧ About page: you can find some information about store owner
✧ And a lot of page that follow ecommerce structure
🚀 The Process
Let me quickly summarise everything I did from planning to launch:
✧ Analysis/Wireframing: I start with analysis old design and findout problems that can be improve in new design, I quickly created a low-fidelity wireframe in Figma to clarify basic layout of webpage
✧ Creating branding guideline: i build a design system with new typography system and color system in Sketch.
✧ Designing: i create UI design for desktop and mobile by using wireframe and design system
✧ Delivery & Support: i move all design to development team and continue help him to use design or support them intergrate it
