Trail Running
Training in urban environments is often seen as an unfortunate reality for many young people from large housing estates. Those who seek to push their limits are constrained to using the sports facilities available in their immediate surroundings.
The Grind Camp is a group of friends who gather several times a week to train. What started as a personal challenge quickly turned into a regular meeting for this crew. These weekly gatherings expanded beyond the original circle of friends and became a structured community. What Grind Camp promotes during these gatherings is the coming together of a sports-oriented youth.
To support the personal development of Grind Camp, a trail running test was organized following the release of Nike's new Pegasus. This discipline combines running with hiking. This initial test, not far from the center of Paris, offers a completely different training environment, allowing the Grind Camp community to explore their abilities in the midst of nature, breaking free from the urban scenery they are accustomed to during their training.
"Training in the great outdoors opens up endless possibilities. It motivates us to push ourselves even further."
