Station Culture

Station Culture is an online store that strives to bring art and culture closer to everyone. I collaborated with them to design and build an online store that puts more focus on the art and products they showcase, all while still making elegant and appealing for their users.







The design is consistent throughout the website, simple and elegant. The use of famous artworks adds a notion of luxury that fits right away with the website's general environment while giving an idea of its diversity and accessibility to the general public when it comes to what it offers.

There are many ways for the user to navigate to the products or a collection of products. Since this website is about art, I want the users to be aware of the different possibilities there are for them to find what they are looking for.





The product page is very minimalistic and as distraction free as possible. All information regarding the product is easily accessible to the user within one click and the important areas of the page are highly contrasted so that to bring the attention of the user to them and smooth their user journey to the checkout.





The user can go straight away to the checkout page if they want, which increases the overall conversion rate of the store. The checkout page is distraction free. The user can either fill up the shipping and payment info to proceed to checkout or go back to cart with a simple button.



The artwork gallery is a simple way for users to find products related to specific artworks with a simple click. The final version contains filters which enables the user to display artworks from a specific artist or art style, which optimizes the time a user can spend looking for a product (and thus increases the chance of them making a purchase) since this page is highly visual compared to other ecommerce filters.















For the sake of art, default (boring) pages are enriched with simple public domain pieces of art for the users to enjoy while filling up basic forms, without taking away from their functionality.
