Monterrey’s youngest government to date approached us with a challenge: to inject a fresh, modern identity into all 12 of its Government secretariats. At 1.61ojos Studio, we don’t just animate; we craft stories. So, we rolled up our sleeves and embarked on a journey to capture the essence of modernism, simplicity, and deep-rooted symbolism.

, we translated abstract figures—each a unique representation of a secretariat—into bumper animations that speak volumes. Picture this: each secretariat captured through a 4-axis gradient and geometric abstractions. It’s modernism meeting symbolism, with a sprinkle of quirk.

The Hand-drawn Beginning Our adventures in animation always have humble beginnings. For this project, it all started with Procreate sketches. These hand-drawn drafts formed the backbone, the very DNA, of our animations. The end result? A blend of modern gradients that echo the government’s progressive spirit.
