Auto Repair Site Where Customers Point at a 3D Car

Most people can't name what's wrong with their car, but they can point at it. This concept site for an independent repair shop lets them do that before they call.

What you can do on it

Pick a sedan, an SUV or a pickup and drag to spin it. Jump between eight views, from under the hood to each wheel to the tailpipe. Tap a symptom like squealing brakes, a check engine light or smoke from the tailpipe, and the car shows it: the rotor glows, the engine runs hot, smoke rolls out of the pipe. Every pick flies the camera to a close-up and writes a line on a paper-style repair order.

How it was made

One page in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with three.js. The three vehicles and the V8 engine are licensed Sketchfab models, compressed for the web and split into parts so each one can light up on its own. The SUV and pickup only load the first time someone taps them, which keeps the first view fast on a phone.
The shop is fictional. The name, prices, reviews and phone number are placeholders, and the order form is a demo that sends nothing.

A repair-shop site concept: customers pick their vehicle, open the hood and tap what they hear, and each symptom lands on a repair order.
