On this project, the client requirement was challenging as no existing plugins have a custom scoring system to match products accurately.

So, we created a custom plugin based on a scoring system where the admin has the capabilities to add custom taxonomies and tags on each product.

When a user searches for any keyword such as "Wheel", the system takes this request to the backend and matches this keyword with title, category, custom taxonomies, tags and description. 

And based on how many times this keyword appeared in search products, the scoring increases for these products. All high scored products appear at the top and go to the bottom as per the scoring.

There are options available at the front to add/delete the filter options to get more refined results. This project was a bit challenging, but finally, we got it to work.

To maintain the code quality, we used PHP OOPs based boilerplate templates and wrote class-based JS to support the reusability of the code.

I still get requests on this project to apply updates, and we are making it awesome and awesome day by day.
