The "Encuentros en el Gaumont" project was a cultural and cinematic promotion cycle held at the iconic Gaumont Cinema in Buenos Aires, a venue operated by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA).
The initiative was strategically designed to elevate the viewer's experience, transforming the simple film screening into a highly engaging event focused on direct contact and debate. After each showing, the audience had the unique opportunity to participate in open Question and Answer (Q&A) sessions with the films' directors and actors themselves. This format aimed to foster an intimate connection between the audience and the creators, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the creative process, authorial intent, and the context of the works.
My role as a designer focused on creating a visual identity that successfully balanced the institutional gravitas of INCAA with the warmth of the cultural encounter. This ensured effective, cohesive promotion across all critical touchpoints: from the cinema marquee and animated Out-of-Home (OOH) banners, to dynamic on-screen templates for guest presentations and the engaging social media stories.
