Link is a variant loading and waiting screen animation designed for Pillowplay (Version 2). Unlike earlier versions focused on explanation, this iteration prioritizes mood—creating a calm, soothing visual experience while users wait for content to load.

The objective of this project was to design a waiting and loading animation that reduces perceived wait time through atmosphere rather than information. The animation needed to feel gentle, continuous, and emotionally calming, aligning with Pillowplay’s sleep and relaxation use cases.

The animation focuses on soft motion, subtle transitions, and restrained visual elements. Rather than explaining functionality, the design uses rhythm and flow to create a sense of calm. Movements are intentionally slow and seamless, allowing users to remain relaxed and engaged while the screen loads.

The final animation enhances the overall user experience by creating a peaceful waiting state that feels intentional rather than idle. Link (v2) reinforces Pillowplay’s calming brand identity and demonstrates how mood-driven motion design can positively influence user perception during load times.
