When Mrs. Uloma reached out through a referral, she had a clear vision: to help 1,000+ African teachers grow through accredited training and professional development. But at the time, she had no website — just a strong passion for impact.
She was considering platforms like Thinkific, Teachable, and Kajabi, but I guided her toward WordPress to give her full control and reduce long-term costs. We started from the ground up and built a powerful course platform that delivers value to teachers and educators.
Project Goals
Build a professional online course platform for African teachers
Make it feel as professional and credible as global institutions
Set up a cost-effective system for course delivery and email marketing
Integrate local payment options and scalable automations
The Solution:
Full Strategy & Website Build: We designed and developed the website using WordPress + LearnDash, integrating key features needed to manage courses, students, and automation smoothly.
Global-Standard Look and Feel: We took inspiration from elite course platforms to craft a clean, modern, and credible feel, using lots of white space, minimal distractions, and high-trust visuals.
Payment Integration Workaround: Since LearnDash doesn’t support Paystack directly, I used WooCommerce to link course access with product purchases. Once a course is bought, access is granted automatically.
Email Marketing System: We integrated Amazon SES with FluentCRM to drastically cut email costs. This helped nurture the webinar funnel signups into paying students, without expensive email tools.
