UX UI: Community Events Application

I directed the development of this app as my final semester project. To guide my team through this significant undertaking, a lot of thought, research, surveying, and brain-wracking have taken place.
The Plat app offers a calendar of local events. Its feature that enables users to have a designated friend to attend an event with sets it apart from competitors. This is the outcome of 62,8% of poll respondents selecting "Not knowing anyone and also being shy to strike up a conversation" as their top concern when attending events.
