The Client

My client offers affordable self storage units for both home and business users, with an added level of security with live in managers and 24 hour access. With multiple locations across their city, they also offer van hire services and pride themselves on their unmatched customer service.

The Problem

With a competitive market in their service area, including a number of prominent brands, my client was looking to increase their overall occupancy levels at all of their storage locations. I was engaged to run Google Search Ads for them to generate high quality leads for their services.

The Outcome

I began working on creating an effective Google Ads campaign strategy, alongside landing page recommendations. This included in-depth keyword research to identify high intent searches in their field alongside making recommendations of how to best utilise their initial budget and split this across a number of locations, and suggestions of promotions which could help attract users to them over their competitors.

Since the new campaigns were launched, the Google Ads activity has driven over 100 high quality leads with people showing interest in signing up for self storage units, with a conversion rate of 13.4%. The occupancy rates in their locations have increased, and due to the initial positive results, they have invested further to include more of their locations.
