A design concept for an expense and savings app to make it easier to track spending.

I wanted to create a concept that emphasizes how people can better manage their expenses.

After researching, I found that the top three actions that users would like to make through the app are: logging expenses, checking how much they spend on stuff, and comparing spending for different months.

I went online to existing expense apps to read reviews on what users found difficult or tasking about the app and used it to develop user profiles, journeys, and stories. These were then applied to a navigation structure and information architecture. I formed focus groups and performed real-time and remote user testing at each stage of the project.
