In a remote setting, onboarding can be difficult for some companies as there is no in-person contact with the new hire. I found ways to streamline the process making things easier for the new hire as well as HR.

Set up ATS to talk to the HRIS. Created HR onboarding checklist to track progress to limit mistakes. Created SOPs and training video for new hire steps.
