TEA/ FETEAG/ Lycio Neves

Anna Gaudencio

This project was born from the need to create an integrated digital presence for three important cultural initiatives in Caruaru: the Teatro Experimental do Agreste (TEA), the Festival de Teatro do Agreste (FETEAG), and the Lício Neves Cultural Space. The challenge was to develop a platform that would not only inform the public about events and activities but also facilitate interaction and engagement with the local artistic community.

The Challenge

When the project came to me in August 2025, through a partnership, TEA already had an important trajectory in Caruaru's cultural scene, but needed a digital platform that reflected its relevance and facilitated communication with its audience. The goal was to create an expandable website with accessible and responsive design that could grow alongside the cultural initiatives and value local artistic expression.

The Solution

I developed an integrated platform that unifies the digital presence of the three entities while maintaining their own visual identities. The website was designed to be intuitive and functional, with features such as:
Direct contact via WhatsApp to facilitate communication
Registration system for the theater initiation workshop
Ticket sales for events directly through the platform
Strategic routing to social media
One of the most interesting aspects of the project was working with material from the old website, reorganizing and adapting the content to the new visual identities of each entity. The development involved both web design and front-end programming, ensuring a smooth and accessible experience.

The Process

The project began with a kick-off meeting on August 15, 2025, where we aligned expectations and objectives. From there, the work was divided into clear stages: organizing existing material, installing dependencies, adapting the layout to the new visual identities, and finally, programming.
There was also an initial proposal to develop "Palco PE," an informative and interactive website to map and document theatrical spaces in Caruaru and the region. Although this functionality was postponed, it remains as a future possibility for platform expansion.

The Result

The project was delivered in April 2025, creating a robust and integrated digital presence for TEA, FETEAG, and Lício Neves Cultural Space. The platform not only facilitated communication with the public but also became an essential tool for promoting cultural events and strengthening the theater scene in Caruaru.
This project represents the union of design, technology, and culture, demonstrating how a well-structured digital presence can amplify the reach and impact of local artistic initiatives.
