Jollof Diary is an Information & Data resource news platform covering the African music business and entertainment Industry.
A brand with chromatic freedom.
The brand draws inspiration from Spotify's design approach, aiming to create a visual identity that embraces a vibrant and unrestricted use of colors. This freedom of color is intentionally tied to the brand's focus on Data, Business and Market Intelligence within Africa’s Creator Economy, reflecting its dynamic and ever-evolving nature.
Charts and Illustration Style
I designed flat, floating, isometric illustrations and infographics to simplify complex data while maintaining a visually appealing and professional aesthetic. Bold colors, clean typography and dynamic charts work together to highlight key insights, ensuring the fast-paced nature of the industry is reflected. This approach ensures the information is engaging, digestible and retains a modern, innovative feel that resonates with the target audience.
Design Direction
The use of bold colors, images, illustrations, info-graphics and charts makes the information engaging and easy to read. The clear typography highlights key insights, capturing the fast-paced nature of the industry while maintaining a modern and professional feel.
