The project tugged at all of my heartstrings.

A client referred Women's Refuge Tamaki to me as they urgently needed a website. The branch manager was preoccupied with organising the opening of a new store and the staff were working overtime and on weekends to save lives.

I had to be patient and efficient in my communications with them during this busy period. Despite the challenges, I enjoyed designing the website and it helped me to understand the struggles that women face in their own homes.

1) The website had to be very simple to use and navigate. 2) Substance over style. 3) Very easy to edit as the staff has no time to work around a complex system. 4) 7 CMS collections seamlessly working with each other. 5) 34+ components for easy editing of the site.
