Overview:

Zahra Perfumes is a passion project that I created to refine my skills in branding and web design. The objective was to create a beautiful and user-friendly Shopify store that showcases the perfumes offered by Zahra embodying beauty and timeless elegance.

Having created the branding using Illustrator, and then using Figma for the UI design the last step in this project was to create the Shopify store.



Goals:

• Develop a visually appealing and cohesive online store for Zahra Perfumes
• Enhance my experience in branding, web design and UI/UX principles
• Create a seamless shopping experience that invites the customer to various touchpoints to purchase the products.
• The elegance and timeless beauty of the products for Zahra Perfumes must be reflected in the Shopify online store.



Solutions:

• Designed the entire Shopify store from scratch, without leveraging the Dawn Shopify theme, using TailwindCSS and AlpineJS.
• Used existing Figma knowledge to design the website and using Shopify sections and templates to build the storefronts.
• Implemented SwiperJs to create a dynamic carousel to showcase the latest collections on the homepage.
• Developed a beautiful homepage, along with a journal section and a collection page to highlight my skills.
• Integrated the GoKickflip app for personalisation, allowing customers to purchase personalised perfumes.
• Used Gadget.dev to add a personalization quiz that helps customers find their perfect scent.



Impact:

• Increase my expertise in web design, branding and development through a passion project that is perfectly aligned with my dream client projects. Combining beautiful design with beautiful products. I truly loved every moment of creating it and hope to attract customers who appreciate this level of elegance and sophistication.
• Successfully creating an online storefront that beautifully represents Zahra Perfumes.
• Effectively conveying the brand's story to entice customers to explore and experience the world of Zahra Perfumes.
