Project overview
De-Virtuoso is a platform that allows people who love creativity and want to decorate their own space, design their own space through VR, or collaborate with other interior designers to transform their dream residence come true.
In addition, De-Virtuoso also co-operates with many furniture stores, customers can design and purchase on De-Virtuoso’s website, or visit the store’s website.
For those who don’t own any VR devices, they can experience in 2D mode. De-Virtuoso offers both VR and 2D modes to cater to all types of users.
Challenges
There are so many items that customers don't know which one best suits their space.
The clients want to design themselves but are not sure what it looks like in real life.
The difference between fantasy and reality is quite huge.
Finding a store that matches their style will take a lot of time.
Solutions
The VR experience is where clients can see their designed room.
De-Virtuoso has room measurement tools to ensure the furniture fits accurately.
A comprehensive catalog of furniture items from various partner stores.
Integration with partner stores’ websites for purchasing.
Ability to switch between VR mode and 2D mode for users without VR devices.
2D mode
Product cards can easily be flipped in the “Furniture catalog” so customers can see product descriptions and other items at the same time.
With the "Panorama view" function, when designing a room, customers will see how that item fits their room in "real life".
VR mode
The item’s dimensions will be shown directly next to the product’s components.
When adding furniture to the room, it is the actual size of the item, customers can see how to place and change the position easily to suit their space before putting it into real life.
