Ana Santos is a real estate agent that helps families who want to sell or buy a house, effectively and quickly, through an informed and guided process so they feel confident in making decisions. In addition to her consulting services, she also provides home staging service, thus differentiating herself from most other consultants.​​​​​​​

Objectives

Considering that Ana Santos works for a real estate agency, the main objective was to create a personal brand, differentiating her from the agency visual identity so she could be distinctive, and have more impact and control through the many forms of communication with her potential clients. In addition, she wanted to demystify some prejudices and myths associated with the work of real estate agents, showing the value and benefits that such a partnership can bring to the client.

Strategy

We began with brand strategy where we defined her mission, vision and values, identified the target audience, and built a personality for her brand so we could have the foundation to build an identity system that could differentiate her from the agency and attract the right type of clients.
With education and experience at the core of the strategy, we wanted to let go the idea of the ‘salesy and crossed-arms agent’ and built a more approachable and trustful communication by creating a strong social media presence with educational content that could provide a more conscious knowledge about the real estate agent work. We also designed different elements and marketing strategies that supported this idea of a greater experience and benefits by also showing what this work is about in a transparent way, through education.

The brand building process is always challenging but Margarida has always conveyed tranquility, confidence and professionalism. Before having gone through this process I wasn’t able to identify my target audience nor differentiate myself in such a saturated market. Now I have a brand that I’m proud of and truly resonates with me. The clarity and alignment I now have with my brand, helps me daily to create content in a cohesive and professional way.
