Cross-chain crypto transfers are still hard for everyday users. I designed a simpler way to send USDC from a Solana wallet to an Ethereum wallet using ENS names instead of long wallet addresses.
Problem
Most users struggle with cross-chain transfers because they require:
Copying long, error-prone wallet addresses
Navigating complex bridge tools
Trusting a process they don’t fully understand
This creates anxiety, mistakes, and hesitation, especially for non-technical users.
Solution
I designed a flow that lets users send USDC across chains by typing an ENS name like ruqayyah.eth.
The app:
Resolves the ENS to the correct Ethereum address
Displays the recipient’s avatar and address for verification
Shows balance, estimated fees, and expected arrival time
Guides users through clear, step-by-step confirmations
The result is a cross-chain transfer that feels familiar, transparent, and safe.

I led the design end-to-end, including user flows, wireframes, UI design, and interaction decisions.

Outcome
The final experience removes major friction from cross-chain transfers:
ENS replaces long wallet addresses with human-readable names
Users can clearly see who they’re sending to and where funds are going
Transparent fees, timing, and confirmations increase trust
No understanding of bridges or chains is required
This case study demonstrates how thoughtful product design can make Web3 interactions feel intuitive and human.
Users are prompted to send USDC from their Solana wallet to any Ethereum wallet.
Instead of pasting a 42-character address, users type something more human like ruqayyah.eth. The app resolves the ENS and displays the correct EVM address + avatar for trust.
Users then choose how much USDC to send, with helpful context: available balance, estimated bridge fees, and expected arrival time.
