Hired by the US Bureau of Land Management in conjunction with the National Historic Trails Center in Casper, Wyoming, to turn a teaching resource guide into a complete, illustrated, printable guide. In addition to general typesetting and book layout development, this involved sourcing and getting permission for image use from a variety of historic collections.

After completion of this first teaching resource guide ("The Westward Migration"), developed and illustrated further educational booklets and a variety of educational games, some developed by teachers and some developed alongside colleagues at the National Historic Trails Center.
