Overview
Vanguard Kitchen & Bath Remodeling is a premium remodeling company serving homeowners across the Austin, Texas area. The goal was to create a sophisticated digital presence that communicates craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail while making it easier for potential clients to explore services and request a consultation.
I designed and developed a modern, responsive Framer website with a structured CMS architecture for managing remodeling services, projects, and portfolio content.
The result is a polished website experience that combines editorial-inspired visual design, clear information architecture, strategic calls to action, and a flexible CMS-driven content system.
The Challenge
A remodeling company needs more than an attractive website.
Homeowners are making a significant investment when choosing a remodeling contractor, so the website needs to establish confidence quickly and answer important questions before a visitor ever makes contact.
The design needed to:
Communicate premium craftsmanship
Establish trust and credibility
Present remodeling services clearly
Showcase completed projects professionally
Make the consultation process straightforward
Work seamlessly across desktop and mobile
Allow the team to manage projects and services without redesigning pages
The challenge was to create a digital experience that felt premium without becoming difficult to navigate.
The Solution
I created a conversion-focused remodeling website in Framer, combining a refined visual system with a structured content experience.
The homepage introduces the brand through strong architectural imagery, concise messaging, and prominent consultation CTAs before progressively guiding visitors through services, projects, process, credentials, testimonials, and contact information.
The website uses Framer CMS to create reusable and scalable content structures, making it easier to manage:
Remodeling services
Featured projects
Project categories
Portfolio content
Service information
Location/service-area content
This approach keeps the website scalable while maintaining a consistent visual system.
Design Direction
The visual direction was intentionally built around premium architectural aesthetics.
I used a restrained palette of:
Deep charcoal
Warm ivory
Soft beige
Muted gold accents
High-quality architectural photography
Typography combines an elegant serif display style with a clean sans-serif system to create a balance between luxury, craftsmanship, and usability.
The result is a visual identity that feels appropriate for a high-end remodeling company rather than a generic contractor website.
Homepage Experience
The homepage was designed as a guided journey rather than simply a collection of sections.
Hero
The hero immediately communicates the company's positioning:
"Spaces Worth Coming Home To."
A prominent consultation CTA gives visitors a clear next step while the supporting messaging establishes the company's remodeling expertise.
Remodeling Intent
The next section introduces the company's approach and reinforces the idea that each project is designed around the homeowner's needs.
Services
A CMS-driven service presentation makes it easy for visitors to explore areas such as:
Kitchen Remodeling
Bathroom Remodeling
Whole-Home Remodeling
Custom Design & Build
Featured Projects
Large project imagery allows visitors to see the quality of the work before contacting the company.
This section also provides a natural pathway from inspiration → project discovery → consultation.
Process
A structured four-step process explains what homeowners can expect:
Consultation → Design & Planning → Production → Final Walkthrough
This reduces uncertainty and helps establish confidence before the consultation.
Materials & Partners
A dedicated section reinforces credibility through the presentation of trusted materials, brands, and partners.
Testimonials
Client feedback provides social proof at the point where visitors are considering taking action.
Consultation CTA
The final CTA brings the experience back to the primary business objective:
getting homeowners to start a conversation about their remodeling project.
CMS Architecture
One of the important parts of the project was creating a CMS-driven content structure in Framer.
Instead of manually designing every project and service page, the content can be managed through reusable CMS collections.
This makes the website easier to maintain and allows the business to continuously add:
New projects → New services → New portfolio content → New remodeling inspiration
without rebuilding the site's underlying design.
Responsive Web Design
The website was designed with responsive behavior in mind from the beginning.
The desktop experience uses larger imagery, multi-column layouts, spacious sections, and detailed project presentations.
On smaller screens, the layout adapts into a more focused experience with:
Stacked content
Simplified navigation
Responsive typography
Mobile-friendly CTAs
Optimized image proportions
Flexible CMS content
Touch-friendly interactions
The goal was not simply to make the desktop website smaller, but to maintain the same visual hierarchy and conversion journey across devices.
Framer Development
The final website was built entirely in Framer, combining visual design with structured development.
Key implementation areas included:
Framer Web Design
Framer Development
Framer CMS
Responsive Design
CMS Collections
Reusable Components
Interactive Elements
Responsive Layouts
Conversion-focused CTAs
SEO-friendly page structure
This allowed the design and development process to remain closely connected while keeping the website flexible for future updates.
UX & Conversion Strategy
Every major section was designed around one question:
What does a homeowner need to know before they are ready to request a consultation?
The experience therefore moves visitors through a simple progression:
Discover → Understand → Explore → Trust → Take Action
Instead of overwhelming visitors with technical information, the website communicates the company's value through visual storytelling, project examples, process transparency, credentials, and social proof.
The Result
The final website gives Vanguard Kitchen & Bath Remodeling a digital presence that reflects the quality of the work they deliver offline.
to create a website that is not only visually polished, but also built to support the company's business goals.
