CartRun emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic, focusing on delivering food to families across the Western Cape of Southern Africa. Their primary objective was to boost engagement through thoughtful copywriting and relatable creatives. Between 2020 and 2022, CartRun successfully built a substantial following and customer base.
However, with the introduction of competitors like Sixty60, PicknPay ASAP, and Woolies Dash, CartRun has faced challenges and seen a decline. Nonetheless, CartRun holds the distinction of being among the pioneers in grocery delivery services during the global pandemic.
