Charge Zone offers a wide range of data and software solutions to spearhead the use of electric vehicles. The project specifically revolved around creating a complete experience for their mobile application for finding the nearest EV stations and an admin portal for managing EV stations.
Role
As a UI/UX designer, I create low- to high-fidelity sketches, flowcharts, and wireframes. I provided functionality solutions and visual usability components that help the end-user enjoy various ways to navigate throughout an interactive experience.
Tasks and Deliverables
I started by identifying the specific requirements for a discovery call. The main purpose of this call was to get an idea about the required functionality and the ideal user who will be using this application.
A complete UX strategy was defined, which included user personas, competitive analysis, empathy mapping, and hand-drawn sketches. Lo-fi wireframes were converted to hi-fi visual designs after defining the design system.
Completed designs were run through some series of user testing to get the final validation, and tweaks were made according to the feedback. I also ensured a proper design handover to the development agency.
