I built Pine & Light

I built Pine & Light Portraits for the #lovablechallenge, a booking site for a family photographer in New Hampshire.

I once did this for a living and at the time, all I wanted was a all-in-one solution. So, I built it for my past self!

Families can design their own photoshoot in a few click. They choose a location: at home or a favorite local spot. Then, choose a day and time based on my availability: Daytime hours or pick the premium Golden Hour session (that is calculated based on sunset time at the location.) Next, a quick rain plan gets secured before booking is done. Lots of limits and automations happen behind the scenes to ensure the location is within the photographers radius, drive time buffers are created so no double-booking occurs, styling tips get emailed out, and much, much more.

After the photo session, clients open a private gallery with a code and password, save it to their account, and build a cart of print products, download their favorites, and easily share to socials. The gallery owner has additional features like the ability to hide photos and change the gallery password.

Behind the scenes, the photographer sees all the bookings, can add private notes and easily reschedule sessions, trigger the "rain date" with email automations built in, plus upload images to the gallery and deliver all in one place.

This was built with Lovable during the contest period. I wish I was still a photographer so I could use it!
