Advanced Tools for You need a Budget (YNAB): Visual Identity Design
Problem: Client felt their original site felt dated, and didn't reflect the value of the community tool.
Project Goals:
To redesign the home page in order to emphasize the following:
Modernize their interface
Establish a cohesive brand identity
Create a fully responsive experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Encourage users to interact with new free cash feature
The Designs

While the site had all the key information, as well as clean/organized side bar navigations, there were some issues that stood out to me:
Limited visual hierarchy
Text heavy information with limited visuals
No call-to-action for free cash feature

Improvements:
Free cash ($948) is the clear hero with size/color emphasis
Modern dark UI with cohesive brand colors (purple, teal, orange)
Data visualization (progress charts, pie charts) to make information more scannable
Better spacing and clear module purpose
