Lucent means “glowing with or giving off light.” Start up business, Lucent, located in Columbus, Mississippi, wanted something a bit untraditional for their medical spa logo. They were adamint about incorporating a cross, which to them portrayed the meaning of Lucent. The term also conveys the idea of healthy, glowing skin that the spa helps create with their services.
