Client organization was founded in 2010, following the purchase of power distribution networks from EDF Energy

Transitional services agreement was put in place to use EDF energy’s applications and infrastructure setup for 18 months, within which the client has implemented like-for-like setup hosted in the client’s data centres

In order to improve ongoing business performance, achieve greater customer service levels, align with an impending new regulatory regime and to address legacy process and system issues, major changes were required

Client has accordingly issued an outcome based open tender to seek proposals from the interested IT suppliers

Enzen was one of the 5 IT suppliers shortlisted from RFI to RFP stage

Considering the scale and complexity of the bid, a dedicated resource was required manage the bid

Role: Bid Manager; Travelled to UK onsite for coordinating with client, Enzen SMEs and leadership for bid response

Reviewed bid documents from client to prepare kick-off slides, forming bid team and co-ordinating with relevant members

Collated queries from team on the bid and raised with client

Collaborated with Enzen SMEs to get inputs on business and technical solution for impacted business areas

Discussed with leadership on resourcing, pricing model and partnership strategy

Prepared the proposal and completed all bid artifacts, based on functional and technical inputs from team

Coordinated with Enzen leadership for review and sign-off of bid documents

Submitted bid documents on time in client’s procurement portal

Responded to client questions, following bid submission

3 Suppliers shortlisted for next stage, post RFP responses submission to client, with Enzen being one of them

Supported preparation of slide pack for client orals and responded to further queries from client

Enzen has eventually won the contract
