Overview
Avenor Security is a financial-security design project focused on translating complex transaction processes into a clear, approachable visual language.
Working from a defined project brief, I developed a modular icon system to communicate protection, verification, monitoring, and connection across financial interfaces.
The system combines rounded geometry, consistent stroke weights, open negative space, and controlled accent color to create a visual language that communicates security without becoming overly technical.

The Challenge
How do you make financial security easier to understand?
Financial transactions involve multiple layers of information, verification, protection, and monitoring. The challenge was to explore a visual system that could communicate these ideas clearly without making the experience feel overly technical or intimidating.

Designing Trust Into the System
I approached the visual language as a connected system rather than a collection of individual icons.
Each visual element needed to communicate a specific security concept while sharing the same underlying geometry, proportions, and visual behavior.
Three principles guided the development of the visual language: clarity, protection, and continuity.

Each icon follows a shared construction framework based on rounded geometry, consistent stroke weight, open negative space, controlled accents, and optical balance.
The system was designed to remain recognizable as the icons scale across interface sizes.

From the underlying geometry to light and dark applications, each element was developed as part of one connected system.
